In 1998 Mrs Marti Noel-Stier was honored by The Star Ledger in its January 18th issue as an extraordinary Person. She was chosen because of her ceaseless volunteer work entertaining our senior citizens, our sick and injure and our needy. Mrs Marti Noel-Stier continues the challenge even today while holding down two jobs. She is one of the true "extraordinary people" in this World.

Marti's first T.V. show was a huge success. She performed with her group at the time, Marti Kay and the Woodsmen, hosted by Dick McCoy at the Holiday Inn Restaurant and Launge, Plant City, Florida. These shows were under the direction of Foxfire Foods, a very well known name in the food business in those days. She herself was also a foxfire, and they never wantd her to leave.

This article was written on Marti after performing for a senior citizen group in New Brunswick, New Jersey at their Christmas Party, and placed in the Home News Tribune. There were several articles done on Marti and her tireless support for the less fortunate around this time, including one in the Courier News, and her charity work was well appreciated throughout Central Jersey.

This is one of the first groups Marti ever sang with, at the Holiday Inn at Medeira Beach in Florida. The trio had a successful run, you might say, but it was Marti they came to see. She packed them in like sardines. And why not? She was young, vivatious and beautiful, and wore slinky gowns, sometimes covering...not much of her exquisite frame. It was always a tantilizing performance. That's when she began to realize that she was something special!
